Sentient Flight Group completed on January 31 the acquisition of TAG Aviation USA from Switzerland-based TAG Aviation Holding, a deal announced in October, shortly after the FAA revoked the charter certificate of TAG Aviation USA subsidiary AMI Jet
Charter, citing operational control transgressions. Sentient also announced the formation of the Sentient aircraft management division and tapped former TAG Aviation USA president and CEO Jake Cartwright, as well as the former TAG Aviation USA management team, to lead the division. Cartwright will oversee the consolidated Sentient management fleet, including aircraft flown exclusively under Part 91 and those flying for both owners and charter clients under Parts 91 and 135, respectively.
