The FAA on January 28 certified the Hawker Beechcraft King Air C90GTi, the latest version of the twin turboprop still popular 44 years after its introduction. The manufacturer also received certification from Brazilian airworthiness authorities and is awaiting certification from Europe, Mexico, Canada, Venezuela and Guatemala. Hawker Beechcraft introduced the C90GTi at last year’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition and delivered 10 in December. On February 8 the FAA also certified the light-midsize Hawker 750. The airplane was announced at the 2006 NBAA Convention and is a shorter-range derivative of the midsize Hawker 800 series.
