Air Services at Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport (CLE), has joined the nationwide Aviation Points Exchange (Apex) program. Air Services’ director of outside sales, Robert Specht, said, “First and foremost, the program will be used as an expression of appreciation to our existing customers. We will also use the program as an incentive for flight crews to choose our facility when visiting the Cleveland area. Maintenance and avionics services will also be included in the program for transient services.”
In addition to aviation line service, Air Services of Cleveland has crew cars, rental cars and catering. The FBO also has a full avionics lab and is an authorized dealer for most major avionics brands, including Honeywell, Bendix/King, Rockwell Collins, Universal, Garmin and Avidyne.
Its 49,000-sq-ft north hangars have 65,500 sq ft of ramp space and are used for heavy and light aircraft maintenance. The 41,000-sq-ft south hangar complex is used for tenant aircraft storage, as well as for transient customers. The area has more than 125,000 sq ft of ramp space for tiedown and aircraft parking.
Air Services of Cleveland also provides satellite maintenance and avionics services at Burke Lakefront Airport (BKL) in cooperation with Million Air Cleveland, and plans to add a satellite repair station at BKL.
Apex is a loyalty and rewards program designed for aviation businesses to offer S&H greenpoints to pilots and other service decision makers. The greenpoints are redeemable for merchandise such as electronics, sporting goods, appliances and jewelry. The program also has a “premium rewards” section for big-ticket items such as motorcycles, personal watercraft and recreational vehicles.
