Last February, Pierre Beaudoin, son of Bombardier chairman Laurent Beaudoin, replaced Robert Gillespie as president and COO of Bombardier Aerospace Business Aircraft. Now Beaudoin has replaced Michael Graff as president and COO of Bombardier Aerospace. Beaudoin will also remain in charge of the business aviation unit “in the interim.” Graff, who is leaving the company, held those positions for three years, during which time the aerospace unit posted record business. Sales and deliveries have dropped off significantly this year, however, as a result of the soft economy and the aftermath of September 11. Beaudoin, 39, had no executive experience in Bombardier’s aerospace business before last February. Previously, he was president and COO of Bombardier Recreational Products.
