Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have drawn flak for a deal they struck with NASA to base an executive Boeing 767-200 and two Gulfstream Vs at the space agency’s Moffett Field, minutes away from Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, Calif. Google’s founders recently forged an agreement with NASA that allows the agency to place scientific instruments and researchers on the airplanes in return for allowing them to operate from Moffett. NASA used one of the GVs to allow researchers to observe the Aurigid meteor shower on August 31.
