Completion and modification specialist PATS Aircraft (Booth No. 2857) has announced a partnership with Tailwind Capital to offer executive/VIP conversions of the Bombardier CRJ-200 regional airliner. The conversions include an auxiliary fuel system to extend the range to 3,000 nm. “Because the CRJ is an in-service aircraft, interior modifications can be completed in just a few months, compared to a year or more for most large-cabin executive aircraft,” said PATS director of sales Mark Anderson. The CRJs will get a major “facelift” that includes such features as sleeper divans, two lavatories and a full galley. Three cabin configurations are designed to accommodate up to 16 passengers. PATS is a DeCrane Aerospace company based in Georgetown, Del. Tailwind is a New York-based private equity investment firm.
