Two former PrivatAir vice presidents have launched Alerion, a charter brokerage firm with operations in Connecticut, New York, California and Florida. The company arranges corporate, individual and family charter services and offers management and advisory services to its clients. “Coming from years of experience in the aviation industry, I could see what wasn’t working with the other private jet programs out there,” said CEO Mark Reichin, former senior vice president of PrivatAir. “Our team felt it was time for a highly focused boutique service, similar in every way to a private family office, offering a custom aviation solution that would truly place the client’s needs first.” The company was funded by its founding members, who include Reichin and senior vice president Jeanne Muzio, former vice president of charter sales at PrivatAir, and private equity investors. The company said that early revenues have far exceeded expectations.
