SheltAir Aviation Services has christened an FBO at Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG) in Upstate New York. The announcement marks the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based company’s fifth operation in the state. According to SheltAir’s CEO, Ed Zwirn, Plattsburgh’s location just one hour south of Montreal makes it a good hub for U.S.-bound Canadian flights. SheltAir has also announced renovations to three other FBOs. Long Island’s Farmingdale (FRG) and Westhampton Beach (FOK) facilities have undergone interior upgrades. The St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Fla. facility is being upgraded with a 60,000-sq-ft hangar.
