Visitors to Pueblo Memorial Airport on the eastern edge of the Colorado Rockies can look forward to major infrastructure improvements. The projects include new ramp space and taxiways as well as all utilities for a 22,500-sq-ft hangar with 4,000 sq ft of connected office space. The hangar facility, capable of accommodating aircraft as large as a Boeing 737, is already available for occupancy. According to the Pueblo Economic Development Corp. (Booth No. 4252), the additional office space can be customized to suit the tenants. Also in the planning stages are outside parking sites for up to 16 aircraft, and a spokesman said there is sufficient room for another four hangars the same size as the first. New tenants may also qualify for tax incentives offered by the city of Pueblo.
