With its acquisition in July by Elisen Technologies, interiors refurbishment and cabin completion specialist MJet of Montreal will implement an expansion plan and further integrate its services, including maintenance and design, certification, manufacturing and customization of interiors. Elisen was the first independent engineering organization in Quebec to be accredited by Transport Canada as a design approval organization, allowing the company to issue approval certificates for select repair and modification work. This approval will allow the interior and completion work done at MJet’s 80,000-sq-ft facility at Trudeau International Airport to be certified more quickly and efficiently. According to MJet president Stephane Durand, the acquisition will allow the company to pursue new aviation markets and a global clientele.
