Plymouth Airport in Massachusetts has never had a true FBO, but recent runway expansions, the new ILS serving 4,300-foot Runway 6 and the airport’s willingness to encourage hangar building have led to increasing amounts of business jet traffic. Aircraft management company Professional Airways is putting the finishing touches on its new FBO terminal and hangar facility and plans to hold a grand opening next month. The Town of Plymouth operates the airport’s fuel concession, and it is not known whether Professional Airways will be able to get rights to pump fuel at Plymouth.
