Fractional ownership operator CitationShares has officially launched its Vector JetCard program, allowing individuals and companies to pre-pay for 25 hours of private flight time on CitationShares-operated aircraft. The program, unveiled last fall, is described by the Greenwich, Conn., company as “innovative and simple.” It consists of a two-page contract requiring payment by credit card, check or wire transfer, and one up-front, all-inclusive fee, starting at $91,370. There are no international fees, fuel surcharges or landing fees and no third-party brokers. Vector members have access to CitationShares’ entire fleet of Citations, including the CJ1, Bravo, Excel and (due to enter the fleet in late fall this year) Sovereign. According to the company, aircraft can be available at Canadian, Caribbean, Mexican and U.S. locations in as little as eight hours.
