Cessna expanded its relationship with Rockwell Collins last month when it announced the avionics maker will provide the digital cabin management system for the new CJ4. Not often seen in the light jet market, the system will include high-definition video and audio. In addition, the Airshow moving map will be offered as well. According to Cessna, the new system will be optimized to address the size and weight concerns associated with a light jet, and new features will be part of the package. The system will be offered as part of the baseline CJ4 package. Rockwell Collins is also the avionics supplier for the aircraft, in which the Pro Line 21 suite comes standard.
