EBACE 2007 could break 10,000 in attendance
Show exhibitors here at EBACE 2007 are expecting to break last year’s attendance records.

Show exhibitors here at EBACE 2007 are expecting to break last year’s attendance records. Speaking at the EBACE press lunch on Monday, EBAA chief executive Brian Humphries hinted at  10,000-plus visitors, which would surpass last year’s total of 9,743 registered attendees.

A number of records have been broken already. In Halls 6 and 7 here at Geneva Palexpo, 1,410 booth spaces have been sold to some 340 exhibitors. These figures represent a more than 16 percent increase over last year’s tally. The static display is sold out, with 56 aircraft–the same number as last year.

The rapid growth of EBACE last year prompted organizers to move the main indoor exhibits from Palexpo’s Hall 7 to the more spacious Hall 6. This year, Hall 6 is the home for most exhibitors. In Hall 7, visitors can find all the major business jet makers–Airbus, BBJ, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft. Hall 7 also houses press conference rooms, while continuing to provide direct access to the incomparably convenient static display at the adjoining Geneva Airport.
