CAE SimuFlite is set to begin offering Citation X technical training by this fall. Initial training duration is 10 days, while the recurrent program lasts five days. The company’s Citation X level-D-qualified flight simulator allows hands-on operations during training, including engine run-up, taxi and systems operation. It has a fully optioned cockpit featuring a Honeywell SPZ-7600 digital autoflight control system, Universal UNS-1D flight management systems with global positioning navigation, EGPWS, TCAS II and moving-map display.
In a separate agreement signed earlier this year with Dassault Falcon Jet, CAE SimuFlite committed to develop and deliver a technical training curriculum for maintenance. This training program will be available later this year for the Dassault Falcon 50/50EX, 900/900EX and 2000/2000EX. The program is slated to extend to earlier Falcons next year.
CAE SimuFlite offers a broad range of maintenance training programs on more than 25 aircraft types. All maintenance instructors are licensed A&P technicians with extensive experience in corporate aviation, SimuFlite said.
