Ronson Aviation has announced plans for a new hangar and office complex to complement its existing 52,200-sq-ft facility at the Trenton Mercer Airport (TTN), N.J. Louis Aronson II, president and CEO, said, “We are pleased that despite a challenging economy, Ronson Aviation continues to enjoy steady growth from corporations and private pilots who appreciate the convenience and efficiency offered by our Trenton, New Jersey location.”

The new hangar, large enough to accommodate the largest purpose-built business aircraft, will have the technology to meet safety codes and comply with township ordinances. Standard features will include all-metal construction with full insulation, radiant heat, crew restrooms, shower facilities and private parking. Adjacent leased office space will offer direct hangar access and all customary utilities as part of the lease package.

Ronson expects construction to start in the second half of next year, with completion scheduled for eight to 12 months later. The company offers aviation maintenance, fuel, 24-hour U.S. Customs service, rental cars and catering services. The present Ronson Aviation hangar complex will remain, housing customer flight departments, aircraft maintenance, customer service and administrative offices. (See related story on page 61.)
