Independent fuel supplier Avfuel announced last month that Bellingham Fuel Service at Bellingham International Airport (BLI), Wash., has joined its expanding roster of dealers.

Besides offering quick turns, courtesy transportation, rental cars, lodging reservations and catering, Bellingham Fuel Service also offers scenic flight packages for experiencing the stunning gateway to the Pacific Northwest. It also has the reputation of being the “local gathering place” for pilots and aviation enthusiasts.

The Bellingham Aero Flight School was established in October 2002, and last February expanded operations to include air taxi and fuel service. Owner Fred Knutzen has been involved in aviation for four decades and also owns Aqua Seaplane Service near Mt. Vernon, Wash. He is also a seaplane instructor.
