WSI, of Andover, Mass., announced that its WSI Pilotbrief Pro system will be installed at all 41 Signature Flight Support FBOs across the U.S. Using the WSI kiosks, pilots may now store and retrieve personal weather briefing display preferences along with actual routes of flight using the new WSI Prolink account. WSI Pilotbrief Pro is installed in more than 500 locations. WSI Pilotbrief Pro is the latest version of the company’s weather-briefing kiosks. The system features a graphical workspace, which combines weather, airspace and navigation. This new route-centric briefing system lets pilots quickly evaluate multiple routing options for any airport pair. A control panel interface allows pilots to customize the information display and to navigate geographically. WSI has incorporated StormCast predictive graphics into the system. StormCast includes proprietary algorithms and graphics that predict severe convective weather in 15-minute increments out to an hour.
