Business Jet Center at Oakland International Airport (OAK) has completed the construction of a new fuel farm, incorporating 40,000 gallons of jet-A–more than three times the fixed-base operator’s previous capacity for jet fuel–and 12,000 gallons of 100LL. The new above-ground storage tanks were added to handle increased traffic to the FBO. Business Jet Center had been operating out of temporary facilities at the airport since August 2003, and in late December sold its millionth gallon of fuel at Oakland International Airport. Business Jet Center Oakland has also recently completed a $4 million renovation of the airport’s original terminal, which serves as the FBO’s executive terminal.
