The Airbus business aircraft juggernaut keeps rolling, and independent completion centers are happily enjoying the result.
So far this year, the company has taken orders from Comlux for two A318 Elites.
In total, the European charter operator has ordered five Elites. Lufthansa Technik of Hamburg, Germany, is outfitting all five cabins, and the first airplane is scheduled for delivery next month. The German company has just delivered the first ACJ for the Czech government and the second will arrive in Hamburg for completion in the middle of this year. At the Middle East Business Aviation show in January, Airbus revealed that China Sonagol had previously placed an order for three ACJs. All three are being completed by Associated Air Center; the first is already at the center’s Dallas shop.
