The Brazilian Departamento de Aviacao Civil has approved Raytheon Aircraft Services Tampa as a Brazilian Repair Station. The facility is in the process of completing its first Brazilian Beechjet repair and inspection. Brazil has a large number of Raytheon Aircraft products that require heavy maintenance support.

RAS Tampa is an FAR 145 repair station for the entire Raytheon Aircraft product line, including the new Hawker Horizon when it is delivered this year. In addition, RAS Tampa is a certified foreign repair station for Bermuda and Venezuela. “This certification allows us to provide maintenance, inspections and modifications for Brazil with direct signoff and return-to-service authority,” said Skip Madsen, v-p of operations for RAS.
