Stevens Aviation Ramps Up for SJ30 Interiors
Stevens Aviation has begun work on the first Sino Swearingen SJ30 interior.

Stevens Aviation has begun work on the first Sino Swearingen SJ30 interior. The Greenville, S.C.-based shop has signed a letter of intent with Sino Swearingen and anticipates being able to do as many as 12 SJ30 cabins a year, “depending on how fast they can roll them out of the factory,” said Stevens president and COO Glenn Brown. The initial plan, said Brown, is to begin with a relatively standard configuration “that is nevertheless of the highest quality and with some very nice ‘bells and whistles.’”

The first airplane will go to Doug Jaffe, the J in SJ30 and one of Sino Swearingen’s early investors. Delivery is expected next month.
