Brian Kirkdoffer has been promoted to president of Clay Lacy Aviation, the Los Angeles-based aircraft charter and service provider. Kirkdoffer, who joined the company 16 years ago as a pilot and director of marketing, served as the company’s vice president and general manager for the last seven years.

“Brian has produced and managed significant growth in each of the company’s major service areas,” said company founder, chairman and chief executive officer Clay Lacy. “Brian exemplifies service excellence.”

Founded in 1968,  the company’s services include aircraft management, maintenance, sales, and interior refurbishment. It also is an FBO service. It is also known for its aerial cinematography capabilities. Clay Lacy Aviation’s proprietary Astrovision technology has been used to film more than 3,000 air-to-air photo flights and more than 150 film and television productions.
