Avjet, an aircraft charter, management, sales and leasing company, announced an expansion of its operation at Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport in Southern California. The company said it needs the new 54,000-sq-ft 2.8-acre facility–which it expects to move into in December next year–to accommodate growth. The extra hangar space will include enough room for two Boeing Business Jets and a Gulfstream V. Four primary hangars already house the 30-plus managed aircraft in the Avjet fleet. The company recently received a Platinum rating from independent safety audit firm Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/US) and holds Wyvern Wingman charter audit status.
