Enflite shows expanded line of interior amenities
Enflite, Inc.

Enflite, Inc. (LifePort Booth No. 4620) is at NBAA’06 with a new line of products and improvements for the business jet cabin.

The Georgetown, Texas company is especially well known for its cabin pocket doors, and is introducing a slide-rail system and counter-balance spring said to ensure smooth and consistent operation.

Enflite was also recently awarded an STC for installation of its 42500 series pocket poor in the Dassault 900 series. The door is the first multiple aircraft model STC award for these aircraft and is also the first multiple-position door installation to receive a supplemental type certificate. It is approved for use as a forward galley, mid-cabin and aft lavatory divider.

Two other Enflite pocket doors have also received STCs–the 42100 for the Bombardier Global 5000 and the 42000 pocket door for mid-cabin and aft positions on the Embraer Legacy 600.

Like all Enflite pocket doors, the newest additions are available in sizes from 17 to 25 inches and with manual or electric operation. They are also backed by the company’s five-year warranty.

Also on view at the company’s display is a new refrigeration line, designed to complement its Even Flow convection ovens. The refrigerators use two reliable technologies to optimize space, weight and efficiency. The first operates by a thermoelectric “peltier” with a rapid cooling time (two cubic feet from ambient 73-degrees F to operating temperature in less than 15 minutes). The “pelt” operates on 28-volt DC power with a standard cooling range of at least 40 degrees below ambient temperature. The second system functions off a compressor with an operating range between 36 and 38 degrees F. The technology is particularly energy efficient, drawing only two amps at the standard 28-volt DC power.

The new “Zero Clearance” convention oven, according to Enflite, includes an “all-digital fully integrated control panel, on-board diagnostic system, multiple power options, programmable settings and a side-plug installation.” Like the company’s other convection ovens, it is backed by a one-year warranty against parts and labor.

Enflite is a Lifeport company and supplies both the commercial and corporate aviation industries with interior cabin components, including sidewall tables, pedestal tables, monitor mounts and lifts, pocket doors, convection ovens and refrigerators.
