Rockwell Collins was the big winner of cockpit positions in airplanes introduced at NBAA’06. The manufacturer’s Pro Line 21 avionics were selected for the Cessna XLS+ and the new CJ4 and Raytheon Hawker 900XP and 750. The flight decks for these airplanes will feature four eight- by 10-inch active-matrix LCD displays; the FMS-6000 flight management system (FMS); the integrated flight information system (IFIS); and Pro Line 21 communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) radios, according to Rockwell Collins.
