Guardian Jet Center has completed construction of its new terminal at Ontario International Airport (Calif.). The new facility added 5,500 sq ft of operating space to the existing 46,000 sq ft of hangar and office area. Amenities include an improved passenger lounge, a conference room, a larger flight-planning area with real-time computer weather service, a large full-service galley, a crew exercise center and sleeping quarters.
Jim Previti, developer and chairman and CEO of Empire Companies, is the owner of the Guardian Jet Center and Guardian Air. He said, “The new residents that the [development] Inland Empire is attracting who are buying million-dollar homes and bringing their skills to the area need this type of travel option.” The FBO, which began operations in November 2002, currently employs 25 people and expects to add another 10 employees shortly.
