Tacair Drops Plan for FBO at LIT
TACAir has shelved plans to build a new FBO at Little Rock, Ark.

TACAir has shelved plans to build a new FBO at Little Rock, Ark. Adams Field (LIT), citing “inability to obtain an attractive lease” and escalating costs associated with the proposed leasehold. TAC Air v-p Danny Walsh told AIN, “Some of the land we intended to build our hangars on turned out to be unusable because it’s a designated right of way for a road and two 60-inch sewer mains.” There were also issues with planned buildings obstructing lines of sight from the tower to the end of the runway, said Walsh.

Central Flying Service, one of two existing FBOs at LIT, has announced expansion plans of its own, including new hangar development.
