Dallas Airmotive (DAI) last month signed two contracts with Pacific Turbines Brisbane (PTB) of Brisbane, Australia. The contracts appoint PTB as sales representative for Dallas Airmotive in Australia and the surrounding region, and as a Dallas Airmotive authorized service center.

PTB will focus primarily on the PT6A- and JT15D-powered aircraft that dominate the region and will also represent DAI’s full range of engine product lines and associated services.

As an authorized service center, PTB will offer hot section inspection services and support Dallas Airmotive field service efforts in the region. DAI will supply engine overhaul service and new parts support to PTB.

Pacific Turbines specializes in sales, repair, overhaul, rental and parts support for Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A and Honeywell TPE331 engines. The Brisbane facility performs hot-section inspection and power-section overhaul on the PT6A and up to full overhaul on the TPE331. The company is listed on the Stock Exchange of Newcastle in Australia.
