Panorama Flight Service at Westchester County Airport (HPN), in White Plains, N.Y., reports it has reconfigured and refurbished its lobby, expanded its passenger lounge and added amenities to its pilots’ lounge and quiet room. The improvements are credited, in part, with an increase in jet fuel sales of some 35 percent this year, compared with last year. The refreshed interior includes satellite television, coffee station and computer stations with Internet access and printers in the passenger area. (WiFi is expected by the end of this month.) Pilots will find eight reclining chairs, satellite television, a DVD player, coffee station and a pair of WSI weather stations in the pilot lounge. Five more recliners and reading lamps are located in the quiet room.

Panorama projects it will sell just less than 2 million gallons of jet fuel this year, compared with a little less than 1.5 million gallons last year. Panorama is the preferred FBO at HPN for Cessna’s CitationShares fractional program, Flexjet and the Corporate Aircraft Association contract program. Panorama president Gene Condreras told AIN that 90 percent of his jet fuel sales are to transient customers, less than half of which are represented by the three programs.
