The FAA has awarded Executive Jet Management (EJM) a Diamond Award for aircraft maintenance training excellence. EJM received the award for having at least 25 percent of its maintenance technicians qualify for an individual training award last year. The company employs 122 maintenance technicians and supervisors and 54 support personnel.
“The Diamond Award means that Executive Jet Management is providing a great deal of effort and financial support to ensure that its people are properly trained,” said Richard Williams, EJM’s executive vice president. “The FAA is aware of the responsibility of an employer to bear the short-term burdens of productivity and training costs. To increase the incentive for management to fund training, the FAA recognizes employers that take a proactive role in training their technical work force.”
