David Price, chairman and CEO of American Airports (AAC, which hasoperated the Supermarine FBO at Santa Monica Airport in California for several years), addressed his purchase of theformer Rifton Aviation FBO at StewartInternationalAirport, 50 miles north of Manhattan. Price said, “Supermarine looks forward to expanding its FBO brand and fulfilling its mission of providing world-class customer service. The addition of the Stewart facility is our entrée to expansion in the East.” AAC also manages five Los Angeles County airports, including Brackett Field Airport (LaVerne, Calif.); Compton/Woodley Airport; El Monte Airport; Gen. William Fox Airfield (Lancaster, Calif.); and Whiteman Airport (Pacoima, Calif.). Price’s company also manages Henderson Field Airport on Midway Atoll in the north-central Pacific.
