All-new Miami FBO brings high style to Tamiami Exec
Don’t tell Albert Sotero that an FBO needs to be “sensibly Spartan” to survive.

Don’t tell Albert Sotero that an FBO needs to be “sensibly Spartan” to survive. The CEO of all-new FalconTrust Air at South Florida’s Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport has set his sights high on the luxury totem pole. Sotero said, “Our mission was to provide the ultimate in pampering private aviation with record-setting levels of service, comfort, technology and luxury.”

Opened last month, the new 22,000-sq-ft, three-story terminal building is built in Mediterranean style–right down to the Italian marble floors and designer furn- ishings. Passengers have a fitness center and sauna, VIP suites with pool tables, home theater, five-star con- cierge service, gourmet cater- ing and a fully stocked bar in the sky lounge for after-dinner cocktails.

For those who want to work during airport layovers, there are private offices with computer terminals and fully equipped conference rooms. For getaways, FalconTrust Air has rental cars “from exotic to practical” and unlimited limo service “to and from anywhere.”

Pilots get the benefit of private rooms for napping, a weather station for flight planning and a library with paperbacks and reference volumes. Sotero added, “[FalconTrust Air] will also excel in providing ExxonMobil jet fuel, hangar storage, towing, tie-down, maintenance, ground transportation and helicopter charter.”
