As an added revenue source, Stevens Aviation in Greenville, S.C., plans to officially launch its Heritage Program at the NBAA Convention this fall.
The program, said Randy Znamenak, v-p of sales and marketing, will target “undervalued corporate jets and turboprop aircraft” to be purchased and upgraded by Stevens for resale. “We’re currently looking at some Cessna and Raytheon products that have great upside potential.
“The interior is a large part of the overall upgrade designed to give the customer greater value for less money,” he said. To that end, Stevens hired an outside design firm to develop an integrated interior style that would still appeal to a customer’s individual tastes.
Those aircraft done on spec will be sold “as is,” according to Znamenak, “but customers will be able to choose from among options such as seating arrangements and lighting.”
