Ocean Air Aviation, in North Bend, Ore., began operations last month at its newly built 4,000-sq-ft executive terminal. An Avfuel-branded dealer, Ocean Air is located directly on the ramp at the North Bend Municipal Airport, billing itself as a full-service aviation corporation with an air ambulance division, a charter department, on-site SUV and van ground transportation, catering, on-site Enterprise rental cars, flight training, aircraft maintenance, aircraft sales and management.
The new terminal building features a Northwest-theme executive passenger lounge, a fireplace and a view of the bay. Amenities include Starbucks coffee, fresh popcorn, newspapers and even dog treats for four-legged passengers. Ocean Air customers receive a complimentary light interior cleaning, lav service, potable water service, ice, coffee, newspapers and crew cars. Other services include a snooze room, modern conference room, wireless high-speed Internet, WSI Weather briefing, flight planning room and a full pilot lounge. The catering menu features fresh Northwest cuisine.
Aircraft owners, flight department managers and crewmembers can monitor their aircraft on the Ocean Air ramp from anywhere in the world with the FBO’s real-time ramp camera with personalized password access.
Need another good reason to visit North Bend? The Bandon Dunes Golf Resort–with three distinctly different courses perched 100 feet above the Pacific Ocean– is right in Ocean Air’s backyard. Ramp-side SUV service is available to transport visitors and waiting crews to the resort.
