Mercury Air Center LGB, a division of Mercury Air Group, has moved its operations into a newly built facility at Long Beach’s Daugherty Field. Flight crews and passengers will find a full-service day spa, gourmet deli and four-star Italian restaurant overlooking the runways. The FBO also has a passenger lobby topped with vaulted stainless-steel ceiling, full-height windows and privacy booths for telephone/laptop use. There is a segregated crew lounge encompassing relaxation area, massage chairs, private crew restroom (with a shower), business center, flight planning and a quiet room. The complex also offers passengers an open-view conference room and 137,000 sq ft of hangar space.
Mercury Air Center LGB was not included in the sale of the rest of the FBO chain by Mercury Air Group to Allied Capital. The FBO is an independent entity under the direct ownership of Mercury Air Group as a division of Mercury Fuels. MercFuel operations consist of the sale and delivery of fuel, primarily aviation fuel to domestic and international airlines, fractional providers, corporate fleets and air cargo companies.
