Conklin & de Decker has released the latest version of its maintenance management software, MxManager Version 7.5.

The company has upgraded the work-order portion of MxManager to provide more information such as the status (open, closed or deferred) of each discrepancy on each work order. The improvement is designed to help the technician determine more quickly the discrepancies that are complete versus those that remain open. The addition of a new report feature compares the net and list prices to allow the maintenance manager to determine the profitability of each work order.

The software also has an improved logbook entry function. While the software does not create logbooks, the maintenance technician no longer has to duplicate entries. The software allows the technician to use the same logbook information created in MxManager in the actual logbook. Additionally, an expanded hyperlink function enables the user to link a logbook entry to documents, diagrams and Web sites. Other improvements include a summary grid of vendors, an aircraft status indicator in maintenance tracking and additional filters for locating aircraft bulletin information.
