FalconTrust Air/Avitat in Miami hosted a special gathering of Nascar teams and fans last month. With its regular customers including auto racing icons such as Richard Petty and Bobby Labonte, the new FBO at Tamiami Airport has quickly acquired a reputation for luxury and high levels of service. According to a spokeswoman, one regular visitor refers to FalconTrust Air as “the Taj Mahal of private aviation.”

During last year’s Nascar season finale, passengers and pilots were greeted at the FBO with barbecue catering on site, pastries and other refreshments as they relaxed in snooze rooms, shot a game of billiards or watched the race on giant plasma televisions. Those who were so inclined took advantage of the FBO’s sauna and showers.

Besides the amenities inside the FBO, visitors were able to view several aircraft on static display on the FalconTrust Air ramp.
