Premier/West Star Adds Aircraft Programs
Premier/West Star of Grand Junction, Colo., has been named a factory-authorized Hawker service center.

Premier/West Star of Grand Junction, Colo., has been named a factory-authorized Hawker service center. The company has a nine-year track record on the aircraft, during which it invested heavily in the form of tooling, equipment training and personnel. All Hawker technical personnel are FlightSafety and SimuFlite trained. The company offers Phase A through Phase G inspections, structural inspections, X-ray, out-of-phase inspections and all hourly and calendar inspections, including 48-month and 4,800-hour inspections. The location is also a Honeywell TFE731 line service station and certified repair station, and is an authorized installation facility for Aviation Partners’ blended winglet modification for Hawker 800s and 800XPs.

The Grand Junction facility also announced its new Challenger program, which includes complete maintenance, paint, interior and avionics service for Challenger 600, 601-1A, 601-3A, 601-3R and 604 series aircraft. The program will be housed in a soon-to-be completed 40,000-sq-ft hangar.

Premier/West Star’s East Alton, Ill. facility based on St. Louis Regional Airport (ALN) has also launched a comprehensive Gulfstream program in its 80,000-sq-ft service facility, which has a separate, state-of-the-art paint shop. It will offer paint, interior and avionics services in addition to minor/major inspections and repairs including 12-, 24- and 72-month inspections and 5,000th-landing tail removal, among others. All ALN technicians are also FlightSafety trained and can service GIIs, GIIIs and GIV/IV-SPs.
