Canadian Helicopters plans to buy the Max-Viz EVS-1000 enhanced-vision system for some of its onshore helicopter operations.

Company vice president Sylvain Seguin said, “We evaluated the system during a variety of missions, by both day and night and in reduced visibility. We believe the equipment will greatly enhance the safety and reliability of our flight operations. I was impressed with the increased situational awareness that EVS provides our crews, reducing any tendency toward human performance errors.”
