Gulfstream Aerospace has added a second field service representative (FSR) in Hong Kong and a second FSR in Singapore to support its growing Asia-Pacific fleet. It has also positioned a specialized PlaneView cockpit technician in Hong Kong as well as a maintenance technician Metro Jet’s Hong Kong facility to assist transient operators.

Since 2000, the number of in-service Gulfstreams in the region has doubled from 22 aircraft to 44. The current in-service fleet includes G100s and Astras; G200s; GIIs and GIIIs; GIVs and G400s, GVs and G550s. The company is also pre-positioning approximately $4 million worth of additional high-use parts in Hong Kong as well as $2.5 million worth of parts in Shanghai to further improve the dispatch reliability of aircraft based in the region or in transit.
