Lou Martin & Associates has introduced what it calls its NT Pleated Shade system as the latest in its line of aircraft window shades. The new technology allows the passenger the choice of a full blackout shade, a full sheer position or a combination of blackout and sheer. The new shade uses the same fixed motor controller as other Lou Martin shade systems and is also available in a less costly mechanical version. The motorized version has a mechanical override in case of failure. The new shade is certified for Bombardier’s Global 5000 and Global XRS and is available in an elongated version to cover two windows in a Boeing Business Jet or Airbus ACJ or any similar large executive aircraft.
