Cabin lighting specialist Emteq of New Berlin, Wis., took advantage of Aircraft Interiors Expo 2006 to introduce its Quasar full-spectrum mood lighting system, which it claims is brighter and more consistent than previous products.

A lightweight control unit contains the programming and can simultaneously manage 128 light assemblies. The system comes in two versions: the ELW70 for most single-aisle business aircraft and the ELW71 for larger executive aircraft cabins.
