Maine Atlantic Aviation has opened a new FBO at Knox County Regional Airport in Owls Head, Maine. Also known as Avitat Rockland, the FBO offers amenities such as a pilot snooze lounge, bath, fully equipped kitchen, private workspace, wireless Internet access and a lobby furnished by local artisans. The airport, with one 5,000-foot runway and another measuring 4,000 feet, is just inland from Owls Head and a great location to fly in and pick up fresh lobsters.
