Arinc Direct Aircraft Services has expanded its FAA Part 145 certification to perform full-service aircraft maintenance at its repair station in Colorado Springs, Colo.

In addition to the avionics integration, instrument and accessory overhaul and repairs it has offered for several years, the 20,000-sq-ft facility can now perform maintenance on more than 50 types of aircraft ranging from large business jets to single-engine piston aircraft. The facility can also conduct most inspections for Raytheons, Bombardiers, Cessnas and Gulfstreams, as well as the Learjet 20, 30, 40, 55 and 60 series.

“Expanded certification significantly enhances our avionics, DAS [designated alteration station], instrument and accessory overhaul capability,” said marketing director Craig Bevington. “We can make it dramatically easier and more convenient for customers to obtain critical aircraft repairs and maintenance now with a minimum of downtime.” The expanded certification allows the company to perform heavy maintenance and service work on a fast-track basis when required, he added.
