Company president Paul Spring said it will be used mostly in support of Phoenix’s work in the “oil sands” area of northern Alberta, where shallow-lying bitumen is processed into oil.
“There is a definite shift from singles to twins,” he told AIN, “with many of our customers perceiving the twin as safer. We need to be able to respond to that. And the days of senior execs flying in twins and geologists being consigned to singles are, thankfully, long gone.”
