The FAA has issued a Special Air Traffic Procedures Notam for the NCAA College Football Championship Game, scheduled for January 12 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The FAA advises certain procedures may be used to handle the large number of aircraft that are anticipated in the region between January 8 and 13. The agency also expects security measures such as temporary flight restrictions, two-way communications and discrete transponder requirements to be in effect.

NBAA advises operators to file flight plans and notify FBOs of departure/arrival times as early as possible.
