MRJ Making Air Show Debut
FTV-3 appears in colors of launch customer ANA

Mitsubishi Aircraft has for the first time brought an MRJ flight test article to an international air show, debuting FTV3 in the colors of launch customer All Nippon Airways. The MRJ90 arrived in Paris on Thursday following a ferry mission from Washington state, where it participates in flight test trials along with three other airplanes. For its first appearance on European soil, the MRJ flew via Winnipeg and Goose Bay, Canada, then Keflavik, Iceland, before arriving in Paris last week. So far the fleet has completed some 800 hours of flying out of the roughly 2,500 the company expects it will need to perform for certification in 2019. ANA expects to take delivery of its first airplane out of a firm order for 25 in 2020.
