RAA Convention Set To Open in Montreal

As the Regional Airline Association gathers its membership in Montreal on May 6 to 9 for its first-ever annual convention held outside the U.S., few among the RAA leadership will get a chance to set aside thoughts of events back home in Washington, D.C. Talk of FAA rule changes and budget cuts will no doubt dominate the discourse within the meeting rooms at the Palais des Congres de Montreal, where the RAA expects some 1,400 visitors to pass through the turnstiles.

While most come with important business to conduct or forums to attend, the RAA’s associate membership certainly trusts that visitors will take time out to browse the exhibit hall, where nearly 200 companies and institutions have bought space to show their wares or promote their services.
