Steven Udvar Hazy’s Air Lease has delivered its first new Embraer aircraft from the direct order placed at the 2010 Farnborough Air Show, the company announced last month. The delivery involved the first of six E190s scheduled to go to Brazil’s Trip Airlines. All told, Air Lease now holds firm orders for 25 E190s and five E175s, following an active Paris Air Show that saw it convert five options on E190s and add firm orders for five of the 100-seat jets along with five E175s.
